I've created this page in memory of a loved one.
Hi everyoneI’ve created this page because we have lost an incredibly special person to brain cancer.
Alan lived life to the full - he was a passionate Scot, a submariner, and a keen sportsman who represented Australia at World Championships for both triathlon (Mexico 2016) and Dragonboat (Canada 2015).
His diagnosis of a GBM4 in 2018 only motivated him to make the most of every day with humour, his favourite music, a glass of good red, shared with friends and family.
He donated his body to medical research - seeking to be of service beyond death.
I have chosen to honour Alan’s memory by asking for donations to fund vital research and provide support services to others impacted by this terrible disease.
Cure Brain Cancer Foundation’s mission is to increase brain cancer survival and improve quality of life. I want to see a future where no one loses a loved one to brain cancer.
Please help me honour Alan’s memory by donating to his page.
You can also spread the word about the urgent need for more funding for brain cancer research by sharing this page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Hi Elizabeth. Not sure when Alan died but saddened by the news. I remember him as a tough but fair coach and was very fond of Alan. My thought are with you
