Alysha was more than my daughter — she was my heart, my joy, and my greatest inspiration. From the moment she came into my life, she filled it with love, laughter, and an energy that lit up every room she walked into.
She had a gift for making people feel special. Whether it was through her smile, her kindness, or her quiet strength, Alysha touched lives in ways words can never truly capture.
Even when faced with the unthinkable, she never let brain cancer define who she was. She showed courage every single day, and even in her hardest moments, she taught me and everyone around her what resilience, hope, and unconditional love really look like.
Losing Alysha has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled. But her spirit lives on — in her family, in her friends, and in the community who walk beside me now as part of Alysha’s Army. Together, we carry her legacy forward, raising awareness and fighting for a cure so that no other family has to endure this heartbreak.
