I've created this page in memory of a loved one.
Hi,
On 1 July 2016, we lost an incredible man, our beloved father, husband and great mate Peter Michael Maher, to brain cancer.
He was an amazing man who touched the lives of everyone he met with his personality. Every year, almost 2,000 Australians are diagnosed with brain cancer, and yet, still not much is known about the disease. Survival rates are shockingly low.
In honour of Peter’s memory, and to help others facing the same devastating illness, we are raising funds to support brain cancer research and patient support services. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to breakthroughs in treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
We want to continue his legacy by helping others in their fight and ensuring that more families have hope for the future. Your support means the world to us.
