I've created this page in memory of our beloved Karen.
Karen, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was diagnosed with a terminal GBM in May 2020. This was after she'd already fought hard to recover from a major stroke and cardio attack back in 2016.
Karen's unwavering positivity and courage in the face of so much adversity saw her battle the disease for nearly two whole years when her prognosis was mere months. One of her goals was to become a grandmother and she welcomed not one, but two grandchildren into the world in that time.
Karen fought as she lived, with determination, enthusiasm and an overwhelming optimism. Karen brought such joy and light into the lives of those lucky enough to know her, and her generosity was exceeded only by her thoughtfulness.
Although Karen won't be here to see her important legacy, she has asked family and friends to help raise vital funds to find a cure for brain cancer so that others may live and thrive.
We are very grateful for all contributions and hope that together we can help make Karen's last wish come true.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. Your support means a great deal.Â
