In memory of our dear colleague's loved one
Hello,
We created this page because Kim Byrne, a much-loved member of our team, recently lost her sister Lisa to brain cancer.
To honour Lisa’s memory, we are asking for donations. The money raised will be used in two main ways:
Funding Research: Brain cancer is a serious and difficult disease that affects many people and their families. Researchers are working hard to find better treatments and, hopefully, a cure. Donations help fund scientific studies and experiments to learn more about brain cancer and to try new ways to cure or manage it.
Providing Support Services: People living with brain cancer, and their families, need help with things like medical care, counselling, and support groups. Donations help pay for services that make their lives easier, provide emotional support, and assist them in practical ways.
The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation is an organisation that uses donations to:
Support scientific research to improve survival rates
Run programs to improve the quality of life for people with brain cancer
Raise awareness so more people understand the impact of brain cancer and why finding a cure is so important.
Our goal is for a future where no one has to lose a loved one to brain cancer. Every donation makes a difference, no matter how big or small.
By giving to this page, you are helping keep Lisa’s memory alive and showing support for Kim as she goes through this challenging time. If you can't donate, sharing this page with your friends and family also helps. The more people who know about the need for brain cancer research, the better.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated.
