I've created this page in memory of a loved one.
In loving memory of our friend and colleague John Pizzey (JP) who lost his 6-month battle with Brain cancer on Australia day 2025.
John was affectionately known by the team as “The Professor” his experience and knowledge was vast, his mind exceptionally sharp and his wit even shaper still.
With a diverse and varied career, John worked tirelessly and unostentatiously on endless innovations and extensive process improvements, quietly impressing us with his excellence, command of the English language and endless humorous retorts.
Outside of work, John was a skilled craftsman spending many hours in his “man shed” creating masterpieces or behind the lens of a camera capturing poignant moments and perspectives.
John also spent endless hours in the saddle and was an avid and active member of the Perth cycling community.
Whilst John’s battle was short, he maintained his sense of humour and sharp mind until the end.
Every day in Australia, 5 people are diagnosed with brain cancer and only 1 in 5 of those will be expected to survive beyond five years.
To honour JP, we will be hosting a number of fundraising events and initiatives to support the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation and the vital work they do in improving the quality of life and cancer survival rates of people living with this devastating disease.
Any donations are gratefully appreciated, we hope together we can make a difference.
